At last, after over 5000 hours over two years of research and studio work, Brett A. Jones presents a rendering of the English pattern as it has never quite been seen before.
The idea was never to change the playing card. Nothing needed to be added that wasn't already there. Everything had been assigned to its place long ago. All that needed to be done was embellish and enhance them. Conscious decisions were made to identify and preserve the basic foundation of the deck.
Thus we see familiar characters and the same old friends, but now with real-life faces and flashy medieval accessories.
